* The Mountain: The most notable natural feature in Cape Town is of course Table Mountain. Capetown is one of the few cities in the world, where one can literally walk out of the city centre and within minutes be surrounded by nature. Both Table mountain and lions head (names for the shape of the rock formation) have great trails, one can reach the top of lions head in under and hour and has spectacular views of the city and surroundings.
* Capetown has the longest wine route in the world and whether you are into you wine or not, a self drive trip to the wine regions of the Western Cape is must. Undulating mountains, beautiful farms and historic features can all be witnessed on this route.
* Hout Bay market: The Hout bay market is located in an old fishing harbour in the bay. Hit the market in the evening or for an early breakfast – get there early because it gets full, but the food and atmosphere make it worth it. One can support local artists and best place to pick up a gifts/souvenirs.
