Felix Klieser was born in Göttingen in 1991. Already at the age of four years he had the desire to become a hornist.

Being the youngest hornist ever at the Musikschule Göttingen, he later, at the age of 17, enrolled at the Hannoveraner Hochschule. KIieser became hornist in the “Young Federal Orchestra of Germany“ and went on tour with popstar Sting, received the “Life Award“ and won the contest “Jugend musiziert“ on federal level.

In 2013, his critically acclaimed debut album “Reveries“ with pianist Christof Keymer was launched, dealing with works of the romanticism. One year later, Klieser received the ECHO Klassik as “Newcomer of the Year” and the prize of the “Verband der Deutschen Konzertdirektionen“.
His exciting autobiography was published by Felix Klieser together with a book publishing house under the title “Footnotes“ in 2014.

Klieser´s second album was released in 2015; a collaboration with the renowned Württemberg Chamber Orchestra and chief conductor Ruben Gazarian, containing horn concerts by Mozart and Haydn. Numerous performances in the most important concert venues such as Berlin Philharmonie and Zurich Tonhalle followed.
In 2016, Felix Klieser was awarded with the famous “Leonard Bernstein Award“.
