Oliver Steller was born in Bonn in 1967 and rediscovered his passion for lyrics after school. Since then, he sets poems to music.
He studied guitar, composing and singing at Berklee College of Music in Boston. As a freelance musician he worked in Boston for one year and in Chicago for three years afterwards. Among live performances he recorded with Tom Coster (Santana), Charmaine Neville, Robert Irving III (Miles Davis) and Louisiana Red.
Back in Germany, Steller debuted as a reciter in 1995. The newspaper “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung“ calls him “Voice of German Lyrics”.
Oliver Steller´s programme for children was awarded with the “Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik“ in 2015.
