Michael Schulte started his career as a Youtube Cover-Artist in 2009. In 2011, Rea Garvey discovered and invited him to join him on stage at “Kieler Woche”, which resulted in their song “Carry Me Home” and a chart-entry at No.8 in German Single-Charts. With his first album, this success proceeded: “Wide Awake” was released in September 2012 and hit No1 in Media Control Newcomer Charts.

Although he had a pretty good start as a musician, nobody would have thought that he would achieve the fourth place at Eurovision Song Contest and excite the whole country at that time. His ESC-Song “You Let Me Walk Alone”, which he wrote for his deceased father, is not only a total earwig, but goes straight into the heart. It is one of the most popular songs in Germany at the moment and also fascinates his fans across the boarder.

Indeed, all this events didn’t happen because of luck, but because the singer-songwriter put a lot of effort into his artist development. In 2015, Michael Schulte took a break. He wanted to find a new self and define a new musical direction for him. In countless writings around the world (London, Stockholm, LA, etc.) he evolved to an artist that can easily keep up with international Popstars. In August he recorded and sang 3 songs for the new “Alle Farben” Album, which was released in April 2016, and joined the German DJ on his Festival- and Clubtour. In April 2017, he released his recent Solo-Album “Hold the Rhythm”, with which he toured Germany throughout the year.

With his performance at Eurovision Song Contest, it became even clearer that he is a first-class Live-Performer. As a Solo/Acoustic Act or with a Band or on his own headline-shows – he always leaves the audience overexcited.
